Movie of the Week: Gantumoote

Roopa Rao’s labour of love Gantumoote has love as the main theme. First loves that are pure as the mountain stream but also turn into a toxic river. Gantumoote’s magic doesn’t begin with the fact that this is yet another great example of crowd sourced cinema, but in the innocence of the actors. With a great performance by Teju Belawadi in the lead, Gantumoote packs quite the punch. This coming of age story tells love from her perspective, in all its myriad twists and turns. Don’t miss this one.
